Leaking complete specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, a Weibo post points at a 5.5-inch display, dual cameras, up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and a MediaTek Helio P25 processor. The MediaTek part is not surprising as Xiaomi has generally released MediaTek versions in China while the Indian market gets Qualcomm versions. According to the Weibo post, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be coming with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution, similar to what we find on the Redmi Note 4. In the optics department, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is tipped to get a Dual Camera setup at the back. Leaks hint at a 12MP + 5MP rear camera combination, and a 12MP front-facing unit for selfies and video calling. Coming to hardware now, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to feature a MediaTek Helio P25 processor, which is a mid-range processor from MediaTek. Also, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to come in two variants i.e. 3GB RAM and 32GB memory, and 4GB RAM and 64GB memory. Hinting at MIUI 9, leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 5 will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Oreo update is not yet known about the smartphone. It is expected to come with a 4100mAh battery, with NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm earphone jack rounding off the connectivity options. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is speculated to be priced at 999 Yuan (Roughly Rs. 9700) for the 3GB + 32GB model, and 1,299 Yuan (Roughly Rs. 12,700) for the 4GB + 64GB variant.
