Talking of specifications, the Karbonn Titanium S9 Lite is fitted with a large 5.5 inch qHD IPS display panel that packs a screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Under the hood is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that is clubbed with a mere 512 MB of RAM for limited multi-tasking. Furthermore, the handset fueled by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean features an 8 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facer for making video calls. On the storage front, the Karbonn offering features 4 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded up to 32 GB using a micro SD card. Connectivity features onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and a 2,100 mAh battery powers the handset delivering decent backup to the device. It would have been better if Karbonn incorporated some enhanced specifications such as 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and HD resolution. Also, Android 4.4 KitKat operating system is available on many entry-level smartphones such as the newly launched Celkon A35K that is priced in the sub Rs 3,000 range.
