Find Parking in Google Maps!

A feature which was being tested in the beta version of Google Maps for a while now, Google has finally rolled it out to the stable version of the app. Users who use Google Maps in select cities would now be able to find parking in  Google Maps. Parking is unpredictable and often a pain in the neck. However, not for Google Maps users. It is quiet easy to find parking in Google Maps –

Once you have set your location, expand the directions card which appears on the bottom of the main screen. In the expanded card, you would see a section on the top named ‘Parking’. There’s a ‘Find Parking’ link beneath it. Tap it. You will now be able to see a list of parking lots and garages near the area where you are going. Not only can you find parking in Google Maps, but also a walkable route to your destination!

Moreover, Google Maps also shows ‘parking difficulty’ which is based on historic data. You know beforehand what kind of a rush you might encounter when you reach the destination.
